There’s a lot going on next weekend at Life from Thursday 16th – Saturday 18th and if you’re a fan of bass orientated music then hopefully there should be something in there for you.

Thursday 16th: AkaAkaRoar! presents Make Noise with special guests JETS.

JETS is the relatively new project combining the production talents of Jimmy Edgar and Travis ‘Machinedrum’ Stewart, their first co-production being the ‘Jets EP’ released late 2012. With recent news of the launch of their new label, ‘Ultramajic’, which is set to release solo music from the pair as well as their collaborative work and material from other artists, it seems like they’ve got a lot of interesting stuff in the pipeline and we’re delighted to be hosting them at Life for a rare UK appearance next week!

As per all the previous MAKE NOISE tour dates, this event is in association with European Recycling Platform and is a FREE initiative to help raise awareness about the importance of recycling electronic goods. To help channel this message, we ask everyone to bring along an old or unwanted handheld electronic item for recycling to gain entry to the event. This could be a broken hairdryer, a drowned phone, busted iPod or even a couple of old batteries – anything that’s electrical – and they will get access to the night!

Support for this one comes from:

Markings / Dominion / Heavenly Jukebox

… remember to bring an old electronic item for recycling to gain FREE ENTRY.

Friday 17th: Critical Sound – Kasra / Enei / Mefjus.

The ever popular Critical residency returns to Life on Friday the 17th with another top line-up including label boss KASRA, ENEI and MEFJUS plus support from ST, Lofty and Shiver, all hosted by Bassline MC, Visionobi, and Influx.

With the new ‘Begin EP’ from Emperor sounding strong, a brand new monthly show on Rinse FM and some huge shows coming up this summer, it’s safe to say there’ll be plenty of fresh and exclusive material to be heard on the night!

Tickets are available in advance for £5/7 while they last or you can pay more on the door.
