MOODY DISCO PRESENTS: TOM DEMAC (LIVE) + SUPPORT //
After the huge success of the MOODY DISCO launch party at LIFE back in February – headlined by Simon Baker – we’re very pleased to announce the 2nd installment of our bi-monthly Moody Disco parties at LIFE on FRIDAY 8TH APRIL.
This time around we’re bringing it even bigger & better, with headline sets from TOM DEMAC (LIVE) + MAXXI SOUNDSYSTEM, who will be leading an impressively big line-up across 2 rooms.
TOM DEMAC is often considered to have been born with a set of turntables connected to his hands, such is his mastery of the art of DJing. He learnt to mix at a very young age, and quickly became interested in producing music and experimenting with sound. Tom has developed his label Electronique Audio holding the belief that electronic music is not only produced for going mental on the dancefloor, but also for being interesting and intimate enough to appreciate at home.
TOM DEMAC – IN YOUR EYES
Influenced strongly by Detroit Techno, alongside House, Electronica and Hip-Hop, Tom creates a collage of his thoughts in his live DJ sets, creating a unique blend of electronic music with Deep, Funky, Minimal vibes. He seriously delivers, and his live set at Moody Disco is sure to inspire, as well as get you dancing.
Locally based in Brighton, MAXXI SOUNDSYSTEM started out in 2009 and have since made a name for themselves through touring a huge selection of festivals, as well as playing some awesome parties on Brighton Beach… Expect big grooves from these guys and check out their mix on Soundcloud, available for free download, or alternatively listen below:
If that’s not enough to get your heartbeat racing, on top of all this we’ll have heavy support from some of Brighton’s finest DJs: YUSUF SEBAITI, MARLON MAHROYAN and GEORGE BUKO will be in Room 1, plus we’ve got CHEMICAL PLAY, TAYMOR ZADEH and LEE GARRETT in Room 2.
