One year ago the mighty Aka Aka Roar began bringing us Brighton folk the best in forward thinking, underground bass music, and on 14th January they celebrate their 1st birthday with yet another incredible line-up. SBTRKT (Young Turks) headlines with Braiden (Doldrums) going B2B with Brackles (Rinse FM), Numbers recent signing SLACKK & of course the AKA Fam.

The year has gone so quickly. Bonfire night has already been, christmas is fast approaching and soon the new year will be upon us. Some people complain about the year passing by too quickly, but they fail to remember that it means LIFE’s NYE parties are nearly here, and this year we’ve turned it up a notch or two!
This year were going tropical, kicking out the winter blues & getting all hot and bothered to bring in the new year! Providing the soundtrack to our night we have Uk Funky’s main man Roska, Hemlock Recordings own Untold & UKG legend Wookie, plus support from Donga of Well Rounded, and AKA AKA ROAR residents Ben White & Temple.
PLUS we are opening up ‘The Lagoon’ and our good friends from the Thursday Night Fish Fry shall be providing the entertainment alongside Jail Bait & the dagger DJ’s!
