WELL ROUNDED 005: THIS SATURDAY AT THE TUBE //

Run by the same people here at LIFE, our new venue – The Tube (formerly The Funky Buddha) – offers Brighton’s newest clubbing experience in a fully refurbished and intimate venue, and already promises to be an exciting place to be. After The Tube’s very successful launch night last weekend (at which A Guy Called Gerald showed us the meaning of the words ‘heavy bass’), we keep things rolling for its second weekend with a showcase from Well Rounded Records on Saturday 19th March.

C.R.S.T will headline the night, blending a heavy mix of Garage, House and Funky; these four producers from South Wales are steadily creating waves in the music world and have shared the stage with names such as Redlight, Tempa T, Rusko and Julio Bashmore to name but a few.

Listen below to a recent mix from C.R.S.T on Rinse FM:

Joining C.R.S.T will be London-based producer James Fox. His DJ sets sweep across a range of house, bass-driven rhythms and UK flavors, and he mixes these different elements – breaking and reforming them – to create a musical landscape unrestricted by genre. With full support from producers such as Jackmaster and Brackles, he is emerging onto the scene with vigor and is definitely one to watch.

About to drop on Well Rounded’s label Housing Project is this little number, Fox’s latest:

Well Rounded’s own Donga & Blake, plus Dubpressure founder Unlikely, will also be playing on the night.
